The new textbook Mathematics for the 6th grade of primary school, parts 1 and 2, is based on the successful series of mathematics textbooks for the 2nd grade of primary school from the author's team led by Professor Šedivý. It is intended not only for students in the 6th grade of primary school and the 1st grade of grammar school with an eight-year study, but also for teachers, parents and all those interested in this subject.

Its processing seamlessly follows the textbook Mathematics for the 5th grade of primary school. The individual chapters are arranged so that the content corresponds to the valid SVP. The authors have supplemented it with a number of solved examples, tasks and interesting mathematical problems. After each chapter there is a short test for repetition. At the end of the textbook are included the results of tasks, exercises and tests.
