The textbook is intended for students of the 1st year of the bachelor's study of mathematics teaching in combination at the University of Faculty of Science in Nitra for the subject Selected Chapters in Geometry. Part of the mathematical preparation of future teachers within their bachelor's study is also the area of ​​geometry, mainly because the teaching of geometry intersects with all levels of education, although it always has a different dimension. The publication therefore emphasizes geometric issues both from a theoretical point of view and in its application in the form of solved problems.
